Johnny Knoxville and company’s latest film Jackass Forever from Paramount Pictures opened atop the weekend box office. The film opened with an estimated $23.5 million domestically. The last film in the Jackass series was Jackass 3-D which opened in 2010
Opening in second place was Lionsgate’s Moonfall with an estimated $10.0 million. Dropping to third spot was Sony / Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home which took in another $9.6 million.
Paramount Pictures’ fifth entry in the slasher franchise Scream (2022) dropped in fourth place at the weekend box office with an estimated $4.7 million domestically. Including international markets Scream (2022) has now taken in $120.3 million worldwide.
Rounding out the top five was Universal’s animated Sing 2 with another $4.1 million for fifth place.
There are trio of wide releases next weekend. 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile, Universal Pictures’ Marry Me, and Blacklight will all see a wide release.
