Paramount+ has announced several series renewals for multiple series. Mayor of Kingstown, which was shot in Hamilton, has been picked up for a second season.
Seal Team has been renewed for season 6. The series was a CBS drama for the first 4 seasons before transitioning to a Paramount+ original in season 5.
Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Discovery, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds were also officially renewed for additional seasons. The Star Trek series do not air on Paramount+ in Canada and airs on CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave.
