
The fresh scary movie Smile from Paramount Pictures topped the box office for the second straight weekend. The film earned an estimated $17.6 million. The film has generated an estimated $49.9 million domestically so far. Including international cumes the film has earned $89.9 million.
Sony Pictures’ live action CG hybrid kids movie Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile opened in second place with $11.5 million. Walt Disney’s Amsterdam opened in third place with an estimated $6.5 million.
In fourth place, TriStar Pictures’ The Woman King took in another $5.3 million at the box office in its fourth week of release. The film had generated $54.1 million domestically so far.
Warner Bros’ Don’t Worry Darling dropped to fifth place with in an estimated $3.5 million in its third weekend. The film has taken in $38.5 million domestically in three weeks of release.
Next weekend will see the release of the thriller Halloween Ends from Universal Pictures.
